'Dana's Delight' in the front east sunroom... IF you look close, you can see a fly in the pitcher on the left! Picture taken 12-16-09.
SPECIES:
CULTIVAR: ‘Dana’s Delight’
COMMON NAME: Pitcher Plant
Hardiness Zone: 7-10
Preferences: Prefers full sun but will tolerate part day sun or filtered sunlight.
This variety has a ruffled hood that covers part of the pitcher. It has green stems and reddish purple pitcher with red veins. The hood is kind of whitish with purple veins. Very beautiful. ‘Dana’s Delight’ is a clumper and is supposed to grow 2-3’ tall… I have not seen that happen with mine yet.
