This nice plant has blue-green succulent type leaves. It grows to a height of up to 6″ and spreads somewhat. It is considered to be a groundcover and and is good as a rock garden plant. It doesn’t grow all that fast, so you will probably need to watch the weeds until it gets established. They are considered a perennial and are cold hardy in zones 4b-8b (-25 to 15 degrees F). They do best in sun to part shade and are drought tolerant. It produces salmon-pink flowers from mid-spring to mid-fall.
Mine has had some problems and had barely hung on since I planted it. I am surprised is just didn’t completely die. It wasn’t blooming when I bought it and has not bloomed a lick. Everyone has always said I have a green thumb. One man said I could stick a buggy whip in the ground and it would grow. Well, moving to a new zone has been frustrating. In fact, I usually can grow just about anything. But, this is new soil, new climate, different drainage, and so on. So, it will be trial and error.
