C. ‘Tea Cups’
Hardiness Zone: 7-11
Preferences: Likes plenty of moisture. It does well in sun to part shade. It will multiply more if soil is kept moist.
This has been a very nice plant. It has dark green leaves and maroon stems. The leaves are cupped and hold water when it rains. Another thing that makes this plant interesting is that the stems seem so long since the leaves aren’t hanging downward like most other Colocasias and Alocasias. They will grow to around 5’ and it is recommended to space them 8’ apart…GEEZ! I am sure you don’t have to space them that far apart at first…you can always move them around.
