Preferences: Likes moist areas, even boggy conditions. Likes light but can tolerate shade. The leaves get darker with more light.
This is a very nice variety with its very dark colored leaves. Mine has multiplied and I read that they multiply more in wetter soils. They grow to a mature height 4-6 feet.

If you look to the right you will see the bottom part of the HUGE Colocasia. These are located in the corner by the west sunroom and the front porch. They only received 2 hours of direct sun here during the day from around 1:30-3:30 P.M.
