Nasturtiums have always been one of my favorite annuals! This year I was only able to plant the Dwarf Jewel Mix and the Tall Trailing Mix. I have noticed that many seed catalogs now have many more cultivars available…and I want to plant them all!
It seems that during the heat of the summer, sometimes that have a little problem growing. Then as the temps cool off they take off and start growing and blooming much better.
Some are in the species minus (meaning smaller) and some are in majus (meaning larger).
NASTURTIUM WISH LIST: These are the varieties I want to plant this year in addition to the Tall Trailing and Dwarf Jewel.
NON-DWARF Jewel Mix, Gleam Mix, Vesuvius (I planted these in Minnesota), Moonlight, Empress of India, Out of Africa, Melba Peach, Black Velvet, and King Theodore…
