Suzanne was VERY serious about her stained glass! I have no idea how many lamps she has, besides all the shades that DO NOT have bases! There is also a HUGE collection of stained glass panels in the windows. Most of the lamps and shades were in the store, but after she passed away the building started getting robbed, so I quickly moved all the stained glass to the mansion… To the parlor! It took WEEKS to match up the bases with the correct shades because they were shipped from California separate. The shades had been packed in trash cans!
Some of the pictures are in the parlor and some are in the entry next to the living room, set up after I found most of the bases. There were so many I couldn’t figure out what to do with them! Many pictures on this blog have stained glass lamps and panels in them.

A neighbor of Suzanne’s told me he came home one day and she had 80 lamps in her driveway. She told him she loved them! He told her she should buy a house large enough for all her stuff. That’s when she started looking and found this mansion! She found it on the internet. Many of the local folks have asked me, “did she really buy it on the internet? “ They don’t seem to realize how common that is these days!

I really like the panels in the windows… I think I may buy more and put them in every window in the mansion! There are more, but I don’t have pictures of all of them yet! I think I just took pictures of my favorites…
