This page is for the marks I am still researching… The ones with just a letter instead of the full name in their mark. As I find out what company actually made them, I will add a new page for each. Just bear with me.
NUMBER ONE: Echt-Cobalt plate made in the German Democratic Republic
The mark on this plate says Echt Cobalt. It has an ‘R’ with a crown and wreath. I am not sure who made it yet…

Mark showing the 'R' with the crown and wreath. It says Echt Cobalt made in the German Democratic Republic.

NUMBER TWO: Plate made in Germany. The picture doesn’t do this beautiful plate justice!

NUMBER THREE: This is a very nice HEAVY bowl! As you can see from the mark, you can tell nothing about where it was made or who made it… IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEAS, PLEASE SEND ME AN EMAIL OR A COMMENT!

This is a very nice heavy footed oval bowl with handles. Cobat (or Kobalt, whichever you prefer) blue in color with plenty of gold!

my mother past away and I have four dishes in mint condition.
The design is exactly like yours on the web page and R with crown and leafs. It also has a # 34 8 stamped on one of them. I have no idea of their value. Can you help me? I have several other pieces of china and trouble finding them.
Thank you………Jeannie
Jeannie,
Thanks for visiting The Mystical Mansion and Garden Blog. I really have no clue what your pieces are worth. Check on eBay or other auction sites to see what sellers are asking and check the completed listings to see what they are selling for. Good luck!
If you would like to send me a photo of the mark, I can probably tell you what company produced the pieces. My email address is jotv319@aol.com. Josie
