HIGH ENAMEL CZECH GLASS pieces were one of Suzanne’s favorites and she has many sets and individual pieces. They are mouth blown and handcrafted. They are first painted with real gold paint and fired at 560 degrees C(1040 degrees F). After they are fired, the raised paint, relief paint, and the shaping of the designs are applied. The raised paint is made from ground-down porcelain and other additives. Relief paint may be added several times, and fired after each application. I believe the color of the glass could be ruby, blue, green, black, or white.
I am not sure exactly what year the High Enamel Czech Glass started to be made. I will continue doing research and see if I can find out more about the history.
These pictures cover just a few of her items and I may add more later.
